This policy explains how the mobile game Batch n Catch: Candy Sort (the "game") handles information. The game is published by FCA DESIGN LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 08200566) ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the purposes of UK data protection law.
The game saves your best score, best streak, sound, music and vibration settings, and whether you have seen the How to Play screen. This information stays on your phone. We do not receive it, and it is deleted if you uninstall the game or clear its data.
The game is free and supported by ads shown between levels. Ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). To serve ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, Google may collect and use information such as:
Google acts as an independent controller for this information. You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the game shows a consent message from Google the first time you open it. You can choose whether Google may use your information for personalised ads. If you don't consent, you may still see non-personalised ads, which are based on general context rather than your profile.
You can change your choice at any time in the game: Settings → Ad privacy options. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android device settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
Where consent is required (for example, for personalised ads and for storing or accessing information on your device for advertising), we and Google rely on your consent. Non-personalised ads, ad measurement and fraud prevention are based on legitimate interests in funding a free game and keeping advertising secure.
Google may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Google uses safeguards approved under UK and EU law for such transfers.
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, contact us and we will help.
Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we don't hold personal information about players ourselves, most requests about advertising data are best directed to Google, but we're happy to help: email us at the address below. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
We may update this policy, for example if we add new features. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
